Sydney Water Work

West Camden WWTW Ferric Chloride Dosing System

Abergeldie has recently been awarded two packages of work from Sydney Water involving upgrading 21 existing chemical dosing systems across seven Sydney Water plants. The packages include condition assessment, design, epoxy lining, new unloading bays, new dosing lines and replacing existing pumps and pipework inside the bunds.  Most of the sites need to remain operational during the upgrade, so temporary dosing systems will be established so the work can be done.  The packages are currently in design phase with a 32 week construction phase due to start in the new year.

This work is being done for Sydney Water under the Network and Facility Renewals Program (NFRP). Abergeldie was appointed to a panel of approved Delivery Contractors for the program late last year.

Abergeldie has already completed other projects under this program such as the replacement of blowers 1, 2 and 4 at Warriewood Wastewater Treatment Plant and refurbishment of sedimentation tanks at the Bondi, North Head and Malabar Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Abergeldie looks forward to completing many more NFRP projects and building on our positive and longstanding working relationship with Sydney Water.
